Oh, and by the way...

Note - from June 24th 2009, this blog has migrated from Blogger to a self-hosted version. Click here to go straight there.

We moved house without too much stress on the "watsies", who are now living in the feline equivalent of the Taj Mahal. They are slightly bemused at being separated from the main building, since ordinarily they get the run of the place wherever we live.
While I'm here, riddle me this: any family in this country can have as many children as they like - 10, 20... as many as the family womb can bear without prolapsing. However nobody is allowed more than 2 "companion animals" without council approval.
WHY?
There are more feral children than there are feral cats, and the long term consequences of badly-raised children are far more noxious. And of course the people who have children in bulk are precisely the people who shouldn't; the ill-educated, Catholics (just kidding) and those with nothing better to do with their time.
Licence human breeding, and most of our social ills would disappear in a generation - and the tiny-minded subspecies of humanity known as Homo Bureaucratis would become extinct without having to waste bullets on them.
And now, some snaps of two perfect examples of Felis Catus. Smarter, more agile and with better manners than 95% of bogan, hillbilly or yokel children.
