Housekeeping...

Note - from June 24th 2009, this blog has migrated from Blogger to a self-hosted version. Click here to go straight there.

Just a little note to point out that, now that I've got the Google search bar installed, several things can happen.
Most importantly, folks can use this page to perform their Google searches; instead of typing "goog" and letting autocomplete fill in "Google.com.au" (which is what I do), you can now type "mar" and let autocomplete fill in "marketrant.blogspot.com" - and do your search with the same Google search engine that is simultaneously taking over the search world AND rendering the correct spelling of "googol" obsolete.
(A "googol" is 1 followed by a hundred zeros: if today's little interaction is anything to go by, the real Derek Jeter knows what it's like to be followed by many many zeros... boom boom).

And the best thing is, by using this site to do searches, you take money from Google, and give it to me. Only teensie, tiny bits of money, but when it all gets tallied up it will pay for webhosting for the new GT site, which will include forums and a chat room (keep watching). I was thinking "InvestorRant" (just kidding...).

I've seen the episode of "The Simpsons" that's just started, but it's a good one. Lisa's "Dumbening" is not as good as Fred Reed's "enstupidation".
