EuroRant III: Post-Mortem...

Note - from June 24th 2009, this blog has migrated from Blogger to a self-hosted version. Click here to go straight there.

OK. So the Euro has bounced all the way to 1.2007 (it stalled and an exit signal was given at that point - which is the reason for the very hurried post just below at 1.2003... it has since gone on another burst towards 1.2020, but who cares?).

So, the RantRecord gets credit for another 38 pips (US$487.50, basis EC - on day-session margin of $1415, although I will calculate it based on the maintenance margin of $2830)... that seems more like a decent day's return on effort.

It might go further - in fact today might be a significant low. However the odds of a better re-entry are very very high.

This will be the last post in what has been a short series of insights into how easy it is to scalp bits and pieces from the ForEx market; if you review all the EuroRant posts wou will see that there have been no dud trades, and that each one has provided "beer money" in relative abundance. You could even fund a Grolsch (or Carlsberg) habit...
