You'll recall that I declared that everyone should declare "bullshit' whenever a politician spoke about the prospect of a global flu pandemic based on H5N1: well, here's some expert that agree with gool old Zoidberg...

When bugger-all happens on the flu front (by which I mean, when the final death toll for H5N1 is less than the usual annual death toll from normal flu, i.e., 25000 globally), the 'RantCall' on Bird Flu is going into the 'correct socionomic calls' section of the RantRecord, along with SARS, Y2K and eventually, human-induced Global Warming/Climate Change (that will take some time to permeate the consciousness) and also eventualy, the decline and eventual disbanding of the United States.
