Headline Indices
The market charged out of the blocks on the basis that a group of policitians and parasitic CEOs sat around and told everybody lies about saving the mortgage market. Seriously, it is no wonder that a bunch of Pashtun goatherds can humiliate the US military... a nation of dullards if ever there was one. On a par with the Mycenae, frankly. Or the Spartans. No thought, just mindless dvotion to whatever the Fuhrer says this week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced +133.40 points (1.09%) to 12373.41 points - however anybody who bought after the first half hour was underwater by the end of the day. The index high for the day was 12469.41, set 90 minutes into the session just 15 points above the short re-entry point outlined in the interim Rant. The low was 12241.56 at the open, but the post-entry low was more than 120 points below the short entry. Check out the piccie again...
